Gram flour is also known as besan. It obtains when we grind chick peas or channa daal. It is a staple ingredient in the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent, including in India, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Nepali and Sri Lanka cuisine. The taste of roasted gram Flour is more flavorful while the raw variety is bitter in taste. It contains a lofty segment of carbohydrates, no gluten and a lofty segment of proteins then other flours.
Gram flour has been conventional used extensively for its health and beauty benefits. It is mostly used in cleanse the skin. It can also be used to treat dandruff problems of hair.
Now let’s see below how we use gram flour to make our skin healthy (1).
1) Gram flour to remove spots
Take 1 tsp. of gram flour, 1/4 tsp. of turmeric, 1/4 tsp. of honey and 10 to 20 drops of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients well to make a paste. Then apply it on desirable area and leave it at least 10 minutes. Now rub it off and wash your face with chill water and when your face become dry then apply moisturizing cream on face. You can do this remedy at least 2-3 times in a week for instant result.
2) Gram flour for dry skin
If your skin is dry then take 1 tablespoon of gram Flour, 1 tablespoon of curd and 10-15 drops lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients so well and apply on desirable area and leave at least 5 to 10 minutes then wash it off with cold water. You can do this remedy 3-4 times in a week.
3) Gram flour for face itching and rashes
Boil licorice root and remove its water from it then add 1 tsp of gram Flour and half tsp. of sandalwood powder. Mix all ingredients to make a paste. Now apply it to your face and leave it to 5 minutes then wash your face with normal water. After washing your face put vitamin C serum to your face. You can do this remedy 3 times in a week.
4) Gram flour to reduce eczema
Take 1 tablespoon of (amla), 1/4 tablespoon of cinnamon, half tablespoon of Sandalwood powder, half tablespoon of turmeric powder and half tablespoon of red sandalwood. Mix all the ingredients and add licorice root boil water to make a fine paste. Apply it on desirable area and leave at least 1 hour than wash it off with normal water.
5) Gram flour to remove blemishes
Take 2 teaspoon of gram flour and add 2 tablespoon of cucumber juice in it to make its paste. Apply this paste on your skin and let it stay for 15 minutes then rinse it off with cold water and pat dry. This remedy will help you to treat your skin blemishes.
6) Gram flour to remove Sun tan
Take 1 tsp. of gram Flour, 1 tsp. of curd, 1/2 tsp. of turmeric powder, 1 tsp. of lemon juice and 1 tsp. of honey. Take a bowl and put all the ingredients into it and mix well until you get a fine paste. Once your paste is ready apply on the tan area and wait at least 20 minutes to dry the marks completely. After that wet your palms with water and rub your marks gently so that it can remove dirt and impurities. Wash your skin with normal water. You can do this remedy 2-3 times in a week.
7) Gram flour for fairer skin
Take 3-4 tsp of coconut milk, 2 tablespoon of gram Flour and 1/4 tablespoon of licorice Powder. Mix all ingredients very well to make a paste. Then apply to your face and leave it about 15 minutes after that wash your face with warm water. You can do this remedy daily at least 10 days to achieve a fair skin.
8) Gram flour reduces body hair
Take some amount of gram flour and mix with water to make a fine paste. Apply this paste to your whole body and rub it on the skin. It will really help in reducing your body hair growth and leave your skin as soft and without hair.

9) For long hair
Take 3 tsp. of Gram Flour, 2 tsp. of curd, 2 tsp. of olive oil and 1 tsp. of lemon juice. Mix all the ingredients to make a fine paste. Now apply it to your hair and leave it at about 15-20 minutes then wash your hair with normal water. You can do this remedy twice in a week for instant result (3).
